YLI Silk Ribbon at the Garden Fairies

Silk Ribbon YLI - 5 yard packages

I have found this ribbon to be so much softer than Bucilla as it's made from China Silk spun from one continuous strand of thread from a cocoon rather than waste silk (or what is called silk noil) that is pieced together while spinning which causes lumps or slubs. This ribbon is soft and flowing, a dream to work with. The 2mm makes the most delicate flowers while the 4mm is the most popular for embroidering. I love to make ribbon flowers from the 7mm as it's easiest to work with but either size is suitable. 7mm also makes gorgeous leaves. 13mm is fun for an occasional big flower or for big embroideries. We also have 32mm available, just ask. Also we do offer spools of ribbon in any color in the 4mm just ask. Other sizes are also available but the color selection is limited. Again ask if you're interested.
