River Silks Overdyed Ribbons

We were introduced to a lovely new ribbon company called River Silks that produces ribbons that are premium 100% silk, woven and hand-dyed in Suzhou, Jiangsu province, China, the historical center of China's silk industry. What is wonderful about them is that they are very durable as well as lovely. According to the literature the ribbons stay intact after passing a needle through it (no runs!!!) and that the ribbon edges remain stable even after multiple passes through your fabric or canvas and we have found that to be true. So if you have been bored with the choice of overdyed ribbon colors out there here's your chance to improve your pallet as they have wonderful shadings of most all of their colors. Oh joy, we get to be subtle in our shadings once again!!!!!
