(Chenielle works too but you run the risk of running your ribbon if you
accidently tear the ribbon with the point - a tapestry needle is better because
of the blunt tip). For those who don't know a Tapestry needle and Chenniele
are primarily the same needle with the difference being the tip - a tapestry
needle has a blunt tip while a Chenniele needle has a pointed tip. There
are times in silk ribbon embroidery where you will need both as the sharp
tip of the C needle comes in handy making a hole large enough for a bulkier
ribbon such as this Silk/Rayon blend and for 7mm and 13mm ribbons.
I have to mention again that if you are fascinated by making your own
rolled ribbon roses with folded leaf petals unique then consider using this
ribbon, it makes the prettiest flowers. Hand made ribbon flowers add
such a nice touch to a wedding party adornments, barrettes, doll house
accessories, floral arrangements for doll hats, accents for embroidered pictures,
gosh the sky's the limit when your imagination takes over.
