Alice. Classic styling and European detailing is combined with the simple elegance of Broderie Anglaise.
A simple T-style yoke with square neckline is enhanced with a scalloped edge gathered skirt
which can be made in dress length or christening gown length. The square sleeves are edged in scallops.
Shaped lace is slightly gathered along the scallops and mitered at the neckedge. A matching slip and moppet
style bonnet is included as well. The lovely Broderie Anglaise embroidery features padded satin stitch,
eyelets, stemstitch, and granitos. Hand or machine-made buttonhole openings are woven with ribbons and
tied in a pretty bow, and pintucks add fullness to the bodice.
