LSD - The Dropped Waist Dress   Sizes 10-14

Three styles to choose from.   Style A has a lace-trimmed sailor collar with tie; short or long sleeves with turn-back cuff; un-pressed skirt pleats; belt buttoned on sides.   Style B - Boat-shaped neck with lace-trimmed round collar & front placket; or constructed lace collars with back placket; smocked skirt below sewed-in tie belt.  Style C - Heart shaped collar with lace and embroidery; long straight sleeves; zipped back placket; wide, un-pressed pleats; belt buttoned in front; nice in velveteen and linen.

LSD - Jumper-Sun Dress, Pinafore   Sizes: 4-6; 8-10; & 12-14

This dress features vertical smocking.  Wonderful made up in corduroy.  A good choice for the older girl as it is not too full.  Blouse not included but the smocking design is.  This is my all time favorite pattern.

LSD Box Pleated Yoke Dress

Here is a different look for either a smocked insert or fancy tucked dress.  Special features are four release tucks as box pleats on front and back, belt under 4 outer tucks at natural or dropped waistline.  You have your choice of two collar styles either Peter Pan or a Square Collar.  Sleeveless style with a square front neck has an insert.   Both styles have completely lined yokes with back placket .. no zipper!

Suggested fabrics: poplin, broadcloth, gingham, feathercord, pincord, velvet.  Collars can be made from linen, pique or broadcloth

LSD Two Distinctive Collars girls 6-14 (can be adapted to adult size)

Two vintage collar designs The Bertha and The Fichu are included in this pattern.  The Bertha is a single layer of voile or other soft fabric with plenty of lace.  Gracefully draping over the shoulders it is lovely with a sleeveless dropped-waist dress or short sleeves as shown.  The Fichu is a single layer of cotton organdy trimmed with pintucks and lace attached only at neck in back and loose across front.  It is tied at the back with a crisp organdy bow at back waist.

LSD Big Girl Classic Yoke Dress - Girls: 5-6, 7-8 or 10-12

Here is a classic design for your older girl.  Special features include: Deeper front smocking, slightly front side seams with pockets!, long or elbow-length sleeves, ruffled or hemmed skirt, sashes or belts in back.  Plus a front lining pattern suitable for a plain bodice.   As always with Little Sunday Dress patterns the smocking design is included.

LSD Smocked Waist Classic Dress - Girls: 7-8 or 10 or 12

When your not so little girl decides that she has a waist this is the perfect pattern for her.  Narrow strips of smocking falls from the yoke and a wider band cinches in the the slightely shaped waist with a pretty pattern (included).  Your choice of either puffed sleeves with turned-back open-end cuffs or long sleeves with buttoned band cuffs.  Back yoke buttons above the the snap-fastened invisible placket.  Suitable for soft, lightweight fabric.  Smocking graph included.

Sizes: 1-2, 3-4, & 5-6

To be worn over a dress or as a dress, square-neck pinafore features smocked skirt, front and back, attached to yokes with corded piping. Double bias ruffles extend from square armholes. Adjustable ties control fullness at bottom of armhole and allow for growing.  The open back buttons at yoke only or down to a deep hem.

All sizes in one 2 -6. Two variations with smocking graph included.  Style A: follow the regular pattern but dress up shoulder ruffles and add a lace-trimmed skirt ruffle.  Button back yoke, open skirt below.  Style B - a slip-over cover-up apron. Ties to hold the sides - no armholes.  Wear it over a dress or just so with panties.  Eyelet ruffles or rick-rack all around

LSD - Round Yoke Dress   $7.00    Sizes: 5-6 & 7-8

A grown-up version of the bishop dress, especially designed for older girls.  Corded piping joins round yoke to smocked dress. Elbow length or long sleeves gathered into straight band cuffs. Lace trim or piping on collars and cuffs and pockets.  Nice in dark solid or small prints and checks with white or off-white collars and cuffs. Buttoned back placket. Deep hem, of course.

LSD - The Round Yoke Supplement  $4.00

All sizes in one 3-12. Two variations given: Style A, no sleeves just a ruffle-trimmed yoke above smocking in front and back. Buttoned placket all the way down the back. Style B - a grown-up robe. Lace between smocking and round yoke, on self-ruffled sleeves, and on bottom ruffle. Buttons down the front.

The Ladie's Robe Pattern - Misses 6-18

Such a lovely robe pattern, very elegant and feminine at the same time.  Perfect for batistes or silks, add lace as you choose.   Smocking is from the yoke on the front to the back of the sleeves with graph included.  Quick and easy to construct.  Would make a wonderful gift for any occasion.

Ladies Caftan/Nightgown Pattern - Misses 6-16

A pretty and simple pattern to make for either sleeping or lounging around the house or pool.  Perfect for those hot summer days, ugh.   In seam pockets, bias-bound round neck and armholes with dropped shoulders.  You have your choice of two pocket styles, inseam or patch pockets.  Three styles of smocking designs included for Van Dyke stitch, honeycomb and vertical smocking.   You have your choice of three hemline treatments, ruffle or edged with lace or contrasting fabric or in the case of the picture a horizontal stripe.   Can be made in cotton, seersucker or if you want something fancy it's perfect for suaded silks or rayons.  Easily adapted for larger sizes.
