Little Stitches is another smocking plate company that has been around
for more than 20 years. Mary Seigel was one of the first designers to feature
weaving ribbon through smocking stitches. Also with the innovation
of putting a finished garment onto a design plate she set a trend with several
other designers as it was a unique way of showing how the design worked.
Many of the garments are adaptations of the basic yoke and bishop which
are still fresh today as they were 20 years ago. Please note these
are design plates and not the patterns for the garments.
