I found this lovely ribbon years ago on an antique doll's bonnet.  It was so soft and lovely to the touch that I spent a while hunting down a new source.  Well I finally found one and am starting with IVORY 1/2" width.  Lush up your smocking projects by adding  this luxurious ribbon as bonnet ties, woven through beading or whatever your creativity inspires you to do.  Can be painted with silk paints, pigma pens or instant set dyes (coming soon) for ribbon roses and because it's silk this ribbon folds so beautifully and nicely into roses.

#250 Cashmere Cotton.   100% Pima Cotton from Austria.   Colors:    White or Pink.   60" wide     $12.50 per yard This fabric has an incredibly soft finish which makes it ideal for baby blankets, saques or gowns. The soft texture of this fabric lends itself well to the embroidery texture of your choice, either hand or machine embroidery your choice of silk ribbon or bullions or both.   Smocks and tucks work nicely as well.
