Imported from Japan. Use this instead of Swiss Batiste for an elegant and sumptuous look for blouses, flower girls' dresses, special occasion outfits nightgowns, or for doll clothing. Hand wash with a baby shampoo or Ivory Snow, roll in a towel to squeeze out excess moisture, line dry on a padded hanger. H/S/G    Royal Blue.

A soft fabric with delicate slubs throughout the cloth. Hand wash with shampoo or Ivory Snow, line dry. Looks absolutely gorgeous when washed. Perfect for Christening Gowns & special occasion daygowns, Blouses, Dolly dresses. 36" wide $25.00 yard. One color Pale Ivory      H/S

#243 Silk Crepe - 14mm.  100% Silk from China.  

This stuff is lovely.  Perfect for painting, smocking, heirloom sewn nightgowns with pintucks.  Add some pearl buttons and you have yourself a beautiful blouse.  Flounces nicely, in fact the more on an angle the prettier it gets.  Excellent for bias designs.  Swirl skirts and 20's reproductions.  Add a little silk paint or dye and you have yourself a piece of art-to-wear.  Stencil it.

Sheer 100% Silk from China.  Airy and sheer but with a definite substance to it.  As with it's cousins in cotton (organdy) the effect of the silk threads is some what shimmery with a somewhat pale umber color of natural silk.

100% Silk from China.  A soft but crisp weave, 8mm (sampled) satin taffeta like, a premiere fabric for painting, underthings, or lining.   5mm perfect for layers, Suaded exceptional for blouses or dresses.

Used for smocked skirts, blouses, jumpsuits, jackets, blouses or two piece outfits. Beautiful drape and easy care fabric - machine washable. Silk is a natural fiber similar in consistency to hair, so machine wash in cool water in the delicate to gentle cycle. Line dry, iron while damp (easy to do). One color: Natural.
