#461 Contessa Smocked Skirt - Misses 4-14

Add this pretty to your work clothing to show off your needlework skills.  Can be made in any fabric that you like.  Smocking is usually done in cotton floss so you can wash it.  Make it in silk noil add a silk crepe blouse and you have an elegant outfit.  Smocking is not too full around the hip line.  Don't like smocking at your waistline?  Try the Smocked Yoke Skirt which has a small yoke.

#465 Contessa Smocked Yoke Skirt - Misses 4-14

Smocking is contained within the yoke which starts two inches below the waistline for a better line on some figures. Since the smocking is contained by the yoke you can design the skirt to either flow with gathers or add in pleats.
