CE The Bodice Dress - Two size ranges 1-4 & 5-8

Here is a basic dress pattern with variations. The Bodice Dress has a raised waistline. Front bodice has slight curve and back bodice has darts. Garment opens at back with buttoned bodice and placket on skirt. Bodices are lined.

• View 1 has piped, Peter Pan collars and plain short sleeves.
• View 2 has ruffle-trimmed collars and short, puffed sleeves finished with narrow bias band. Sash ties at back.
• View 3 is like View 2 but with an embroidered, lace-trimmed collar.
• View 4 is a sleeveless version of View 1.

Sleeves and collars are interchangeable. Easy to make, easy to fit & offers a wide range of adaptations.

CE#21 Mary Jane Jumper & Blouse sz 2 - 5

This pattern includes 3 jumper and 3 blouse styles plus smocking instructions and design. All jumpers are A-lined with a flair skirt (good for twirling) and have shoulder a flap closure. The all-machine lining makes the jumper quick and easy to sew. Three jumper styles include plain with squared front, plain with rounded front, or a smocked insert on the front. All blouses button up the front and have slightly a contoured shape. There are two sleeve and two collar variations. The petite, one-piece collar can be plain, piped or ruffled. Smart, tailored blouse construction is fashioned after the method used in the ready-to-wear industry. CE Will - Shirts and Jumpsuits for Boys 1 - 5

A collection of 5 shirt variations and 4 jumpsuit styles. Shirt selections include plain and embellished with smocking, embroidery, cross-stitch or lace. All shirts have a back buttoned closure and straight, hemmed or cuffed sleeves. Lined jumpsuit comes in long and short versions plus two front styles: standard-cut front to be worn with the plain shirt, or low-cut front to expose shirt embellishments such as smocking, etc. The machine lining method for all jumpsuits is quick and produces a neat, professional appearance.

CE#10 Tucked Dress or Baby Daygown - Girls:  Individual sizes: Infants; 1-2; 3-4; 5-6

• View 1 has center box pleat embellished with embroidery and flanked by 1/4" tucks. Back has matching sets of tucks and button opening. Peter Pan collar and short puffed sleeves are trimmed with entredeux and lace edging.
• View 2 has same pleat, tuck and back features as View 1, with different embroidery design. Neck edge and sleeves are finished with standing bias bands and eyelet ruffle.
• View 3 has same pleat, tuck and back features as View 1, plain Peter Pan collar, and long, hemmed sleeves. Small buttons decorate front pleat.
• View 4 has a front button opening with tucks on either side.

DOTTIE'S DAY DRESS

The front is constructed of one piece of fabric and features smocking to the shoulder on either side of a center box pleat.  Back has a plain bodice attached to a skirt, and optional belt.  This pattern can also be used for a smocked-to-the-shoulder dress without the center box pleat. Any fabric that can be pleated is suitable for making Dottie's Day Dress - use fine cottons and linens with delicate trims for a dressy look; try broadcloth, chambray, or oxford cloth for a more casual look.

Our Lillian Baby pattern includes a daygown, a christening gown with ruffle, slips for both gowns, and cap. CE#14 Gertrude's Baby Cap

This infant cap is appropriate for boy or girl babies.  The front of the cap can be plain or embellished with a variety of decorative treatments such as lace trim, embroidery, or hemstitching.

Several time-saving features reduce construction time: 

• Front of cap is folded back, creating a self-band or flap. 
• The crown is faced, eliminating the challenge of  rolling and whipping  a fabric circle. 
• Lower edge of cap is finished with a bias facing. 
• Ribbon rosette and tie (streamer) are made from one length of ribbon instead of rosette and streamer being made separately, then tacked together.

Includes geometric smocking designs. Small square is perfect for your favorite smocked motif, picture or animal. Smaller size group includes boy aprons with belted back. All girl apron variations have sash option.
