Briar Patch Designs Pattern Company

One of the original pattern companies around from the beginning of the smocking and heirloom sewing world in the early 1980's. These patterns are some of the first heirloom sewn designs that sparked a generation of seamstresses and designers. Her classic pattern collection includes dresses for girls, blouses for ladies and nightgowns/sundresses for both. Even though the price per pattern is the same as it was in the 80's, the designer Becky Summers was an expert pattern maker, heirloom sewer and smocker.
