Aunt Martha's Iron On Embroidery Transfers
These have been around forever in one form or another as I remember them when I was a little girl some 50 odd years ago when my grandmother started to teach me embroidery. I was a very good student, :-)
Each sheet is 24" x 36". The designs are good for several stampings.
Aunt Martha's hot iron transfer patterns have been needlecrafter's favorites since the mid-1920's. Aunt Martha's first patterns were for quilt blocks but have evolved today into designs suitable for wearable art, decorative painting, surface and punch needle embroidery, household linens, even tole and wood designs!
What I do like about these is that first of all they exist (iron on transfers have recently been a thing of the past) and 2nd they are a great way for young and old to practice embroidery as the stitches used are basic embroidery stitches.
